James J. Creighton, Jr., M.D.
James J. Creighton, Jr., M.D., received his medical degree and orthopaedic residency training from State University of New York. Dr. Creighton also did further training in head trauma and stroke rehabilitation and surgery at Rancho Los Amigos Medical Center in Downey, California. Dr. Creighton completed a fellowship in hand surgery at The Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center. In 1988, Dr. Creighton joined The Indiana Hand to Shoulder Center after practicing in Phoenix, Arizona. Dr. Creighton is the Clinical Assistant Professor of Orthopaedic Surgery at Indiana University School of Medicine. Since 2008 Dr. Creighton has served on the Advisory Council for the College of Science at the University of Notre Dame.
Dr. Creighton has written and published scientific articles, book chapters, scientific abstracts, and has given presentations at local, national, and international conferences, with special interst in Workers Compensation issues facing the medical profession.
