Biography
Sara Barton graduated from Indiana University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biology in 2009. She then attended Bethel University, earning her Masters of Science in Physician Assistant Studies in 2013. Shortly after, she joined the practice as a corporate PA working primarily at Methodist Hospital, where she enjoyed working with orthopedic hand and upper extremity trauma. She later transitioned into her current role working directly with Dr. Kathryn Peck. Their clinical and surgical interests include all-inclusive care of the upper extremity from shoulder to fingertips for adult and pediatric patients including fractures, arthritis, trauma, compressive neuropathies, arthroscopy, congenital hand and upper extremity conditions, peripheral nerve surgery including the brachial plexus.
Sara Barton is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Indiana Academy of Physician Assistants.
Outside of work, Sara’s interests include IU basketball, travel, and spending time with her family
